Dear
Dr. Q,
I'm a new intern, and I just discovered the vibration mode on my pager.
Now I can't stop paging myself and I was wondering if there was anything
I could do? - Lonely in New York
Doesn't sound like
too much of a problem. May I suggest you lock the call room door prior
to hitting the redial button on the phone? Otherwise, it seems you have
found the secret to surviving internship. Keep up the good work. - Q
Dr Q,
Why are there so many songs about rainbows and what's on the other side?
- It Ain't Easy Being Green.
Rainbows are visions
- but only illusions. And rainbows have nothing to hide. - Q
Hey Dr. Q,
Why is one of my feet bigger than the other? - Three Coins In The Fountain
Experts have been
pondering this question for decades, so don't expect me to give you an
answer in the measly time and space I get here. What is probably true,
and likely has some face validity, is that either one of your feet is
large or the other is small. It also has something to do with genetics
and the fact that your mother made you wear a small binding shoe on your
right foot while you wore a large "Rocky & Bullwinkle" slipper on
your left foot. - Q
